INTRODUCTION TO SCUBA DIVING - OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION

DIVERS@SEA's Introduction to SCUBA Diving Course is your key to the fascinating world of safe and enjoyable SCUBA Diving. This introductory course is designed to teach you the basics of SCUBA Diving, from the safety skills required to dive in a confined water environment such as a swimming pool to the fundamental diving knowledge needed to safely plan your time below the surface in an Open water or ocean environment. In this course you will master all the skills and knowledge necessary to become a fully certified PADI Open Water SCUBA Diver. Your C-Card is an underwater version of your automobiles drivers license.

Since we intentionally keep our group class sizes small we can accommodate a wide range of different scheduling options from Saturday and Sunday pool dives to convenient weekday evening sessions after work. Private lessons are also available for those individuals whose schedules are not easily accommodated by our group course or those wishing to get the added benefit of private one on one instruction.

After successful completion of the classroom and pool training sessions you will be ready to try your new skills at a popular dive site. The final phase of the certification process is four exciting instructor lead dives.

Note: JUNIOR OPEN WATER CERTIFICATIONS are available for those between the ages of 12 and 15.
